Problem: My computer does not wake up
This can have many different causes:

The computer was not shut down cleanly.

The computer was disconnected from the power supply.

It is not possible to wake up the computer from your network.

The computer or the network are not configured for Wake-On-Lan. The following checklist comes into play: Wake-On-Lan Windows 10
Problem: My computer is not in the dropdown list
In this case, you would need to ask your
administrator to add your machine to the list.
Problem: My computer can be woken up, but the remote desktop
connection does not work
Your computer must be configured for Remote Desktop.
Not only must Remote Desktop be allowed - you must also be configured as
an allowed user. This can be done by your administrator.
